One of the longest and most hotly contested
Presidential races in recent history is going to culminate in less than
30 days. The only thing definite about this race is that a first is
going to occur this November, whether we have our first black President
or our first woman Vice President.
Because I believe in voting
values over party lines, I’ve put a lot of research into finding out
not only what each candidate stands for, but also what their associates
and advisors believe as well.
Through this research I’ve come to
believe that John McCain and Sarah Palin are the best choices for
President and Vice President of the United States. I don’t come by this
decision lightly and I don’t give my endorsement simply because I like
them. There are areas on which I disagree with this ticket, but in the
overall picture I cannot think of voting otherwise.
As an
American with a genuine love for my country and a healthy fear of the
forces that would tear her apart, I will always vote for what I see as
best for America.
Even more than that, as a Christian with
morals, my core values play a significant role in deciding where my
vote will be cast. I believe the Bible is very clear on the topics such
as the Sanctity of Life, the value of family as God created it,
honesty, faithfulness and authenticity. These issues will be playing a
very large role in our nation in the next 4 – 8 years and I believe we
need to pay close attention to them.
I’ll just highlight two of the most important ones here:
Integrity:
John McCain
A
friend of mine who knows John McCain personally told me that; “People
might not like his personality, but when he says he will do something,
he does it. He looks at each decision based not on what’s good for his
so called image, but on what’s good for his country. His military
training has engrained this servant mentality into him and he has worn
it well over his many decades of service to America. He is in private
exactly who he is in public. That’s why I’m voting for him.”
Ironically, this friend is a lifelong Democrat.
John McCain is
many things, but faithless he is not. Through his many years of service
to his country, he has proven himself faithful even when having to risk
his reputation to do so. He is authentic to a fault in that he answers
straight on topics that matter and does not hesitate or bluff when
asked hard questions.
Barak Hussein Obama
has
proven himself to be faithful to the extreme left wing of his party and
no one else. Having many times flip-flopped back and forth on issues
such as the economy, his 20 year attendance of Jeremiah Wright’s racist
hate-mongering church and his close ties to radical terrorists, Barak
Hussein Obama never has a straight answer, just nice words. When asked
hard questions, such as when human life begins, Barak Hussein Obama
shuffles, bluffs and curtails the issue while trying to save face. He
appears to not even be true to his own core values, if he even has any.
As
a Senator, his job is to vote on issues important to those who elected
him to office. Unfortunately, his most common vote has been “Present”
and the issues on which he does vote are nearly all in favor of extreme
liberal / socialist ideals. Nothing proves his casual approach to his
duties more as when he refused to return to Washington from the
campaign trail to work on a solution to our deepening financial crisis,
something John McCain had no problem doing.
Abortion:
John McCain
“believes
Roe v. Wade is a flawed decision that must be overturned, and as
president he will nominate judges who understand that courts should not
be in the business of legislating from the bench.”
He will also concentrate on promoting adoption as the caring option to genocide in the womb. His Vice Presidential nominee, Sarah Palin, is a proven champion of human rights and is staunchly pro life.
Palin
will get things done and fight hard for those who can’t fight for
themselves, the unborn children. These children can be thankful they
have such a woman fighting for them, for Sarah passed the ultimate test
of abortion when she gave birth to a wonderful boy with down syndrome.
To top that, her very own daughter chose to keep a baby conceived out
of wedlock and marry the father. That took guts.
Barak Hussein Obama
is
staunchly pro abortion to the point of even supporting very late term
abortion, which entails killing a baby outside the mother’s womb. He is
on the record as stating that a woman expecting an unwanted baby
shouldn’t be “punished with this problem”. Forget the nice phrases he
has on his website, his very sparse voting record contains outrageous
votes and statements made in support of this practice.
To top that off, his running mate, Joe Biden,
has said that he believes that life BEGINS at CONCEPTION; startling
words from someone who has enthusiastically supported abortion
throughout his entire career!
So in other words, Biden has
confessed what his cohorts are afraid to admit, that by his support of
abortion he is legally a murderer. Funny that we never hear anyone
wanting to prosecute him; the hundreds of thousands of innocent
people murdered this way makes the deaths in Iraq that liberals hold
the current administration responsible for look like a drop in the
bucket…
This battle has come to a head and the next decade will
determine the fate of OUR nation; will we repent of our shameless
genocide, or will we ignore the blood on our hands and exterminate
another generation?
A vote for Barak Hussein Obama is a blood vote for a continuation of our national shame, abortion.
What now?
My
gut tells me that the American people are standing on the brink of
making a terrible mistake. I understand wanting change and all that,
but we need to ask ourselves, “Is this the change we want?”
Mark
my words, if you think the economy is bad now, wait until Barak Hussein
Obama implements his socialist / communist plans of change in our
society. We’ll all be economically equal alright; equally poorer from
higher taxes and equally dead while we wait in line for an appendectomy
at the social welfare clinic!
If you think our freedoms are
being violated now, wait until Barak Hussein Obama takes away all our
guns. Crime in America will increase and emboldened by the fact that
upstanding citizens aren’t allowed to have firearms, armed violent
criminals will roam at will, easily evading already thinly stretched
law enforcement. Barak Hussein Obama could then declare marshal law in
American to cope with the security threat.
If you think the
Iraqi war is bad, wait until Venezuela, Cuba and a few other South
American nations attack the United States with Russian made nuclear
weapons and invades Florida, Texas and California. If he doesn’t invite
Hugo Chavez and his army to Washington for a little “dialog” (read:
revolution), Barak Hussien Obama will, like his political twin Neville
Chamberlain, try to appease our enemies through fastidious dialog and
claim “peace in our time”. Then we’ll have to kick his sorry butt out
of office and fight the battle of our lives to preserve this place we
call the Land of the Free.
And heaven help us if we have
another terrorist attack on our soil. Barak Hussein Obama would
probably want to dialog with the terrorists to find some common ground
so we can solve our differences. I can hear it now:
TERRORIST:
“Death to America!”
BARRY:
“But isn’t there some way that we can find common…”
TERRORIST:
“Death to America!”
BARRY:
“Ok,
well I can understand you wanting to kill us for 72 virgins. I mean,
that makes perfect sense to me. But, can’t we do sort of an exchange
program? I’ll implement Sharia law in my country and we’ll introduce
Islam into our public school system if you won’t attack us.”
TERRORIST:
“Yeehaw!”
Not my opinion of a peaceful next four years!
I’m
not saying these things will happen, but everyone said that Fannie Mae
and Freddie Mac wouldn't collapse like they did either; so stranger
things have been suggested.
Friend, we face some immense
challenges in these times. The change we are talking about affects each
one of us in a very personal way. It's not an administration change
were talking about here, it's a lifestyle change; for our very lives
will be affected by the next administration.
Do we want radical socialism, or do we want what our founding Fathers
fought for, democracy? For that is how sharp the dividing lines have
been drawn. The choice is ours.
So you really want change? Then we're going to have to work for it!
We
the people are the problem, not our politicians. Our collective sense
of entitlement has led us into a very dangerous place; dependence on
the government. If you think wealthy CEO’s are bad, wait until you get
wealthy communist party secretaries, they will not only be richer than
you, they’ll throw you in jail or kill you outright for protesting
against them.
We have to understand that along with the so
called “security” that socialism brings comes a drastic reduction in
our freedoms. We need LESS government, NOT more. We need the freedom to
solve our own problems and yes, we need the freedom to fail.
A vote for Barak Hussein Obama is a vote for socialism, which leads to communism.
The
first problem we need to solve is who to vote for; and if you’re an
American with any sense at all (and I admit that I’m talking to roughly
60% of Americans) you’ll vote for the only candidates who are proud of
their love for America:
John McCain and Sarah Palin
Thanks for your time and see you at the polls!
